With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mrs. Ann Rojas. Skomor SC would not exist without Mrs. Rojas. Alongside her husband, Paul they founded Skomor SC 35 years ago in 1989.

Mrs. Rojas was the 1st team mom and supported whatever it took to make the family's dream of a local, affordable and accessible soccer club a reality. Mrs. Rojas was often the chauffeur, getting the kids on time to their practices and keeping everything running smoothly while Paul worked and coached. The club grew with community support and loyalty into the soccer family we have today. 

She and Paul were married for 47 years. She is the loving mom of Natalie (Kjetil) Rojas-Samuelsen and Nick Rojas;  proud grandma of Nori Amelia; cherished sister of Gloria Ochoa; dear aunt and friend to many. She is also a proud retiree Teacher Aide at Molloy Education Center.

We are grateful to our family and community for their love and support always and especially at this time of deep sorrow. 

God bless the Rojas Family and we know she will be watching out for us on the field.
